How to Connect to the Bryant Guest Network
BryantGuest is the preferred wireless network for Guests on campus. Students, Faculty and Staff should only use this network for smart devices or game consoles.
Windows
- Select the Network icon in the notification area.
- In the list of networks, choose the BryantGuest-PW=BryantGuest network, and then select Connect.
- Type BryantGuest for the security key (often called the password) and click OK.
- Open any web browser and you will be re-directed to nessus1.bryant.edu. You can also manually open it by going to nessus1.bryant.edu.
- You will be asked to enter some information and you'll need to review and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Click Bryant University Vistors
- You will be asked to enter some information, before clicking Submit.
Mac
- Select the Network icon in the notification area.
- In the list of networks, choose the BryantGuest-PW=BryantGuest network, and then select Connect.

Chromebooks
Important! You must select PEAP as the authentication type and choose Do not use certifications before entering your credentials.
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Select Not Connected.
Note: If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.
- Select BryantGuest-PW=BryantGuest from the list of networks.
- If shown, select PEAP and Do not use certifications.
- Type BryantGuest for the network password.
- Select Connect.
Android
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Network & internet >Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Tap on the BryantGuest-PW=BryantGuest network.
- When prompted type BryantGuest for the password.
- Open a web browser and search for time.com or another website you do not frequent.
- Select accept on the registration portal once it opens.
- Select Bryant University Visitors.
- Fill out the form.
You will need to register with the Network Control Appliance. See WiFi for Android for details.
iOS
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Tap the BryantGuest-PW=BryantGuest network.
- Enter BryantGuest for the password, then tap Join.
- Open a web browser and search for time.com or another website you do not frequent.
- Select accept on the registration portal once it opens.
- Select Bryant University Visitors.
- Fill out the form.
